The LECOM Suncoast Classic is a professional golf tournament on the newly named Korn Ferry Tour (previously the Web.com Tour), and sanctioned by the PGA TOUR. 144 professional golfers from all over the world head to Lakewood National Golf Club each February to compete for a purse of $550,000. The LECOM Suncoast Classic is currently the only professional golf tournament in the Sarasota/Bradenton area and already one of the region's most attended events, drawing over 17,500 spectators at its inaugural tournament in 2019.
